while acquiring skills, knowledge and values necessary to succeed and contribute to society. In response to the changing needs of our students and in order to improve their integration, Shfeyah opened its school in 2002 to the Mofet Program in Physics, Biology and Mathematics for outstanding students from surrounding communities who study during the school day in special classes. Shfeyah also provides classes for previously underachieving students in grades 7-12 to study in an enriched academic program which enables them to complete their Bagrut ( matriculation) certificates and qualifies them to pursue higher education.

Shfeyah is located in the beautiful natural surroundings of the Carmel Mountains near Zichron Yaakov. The village includes a junior and senior high school, library, computer labs, science labs, dormitories, dining room, gymnasium,  a synagogue, staff housing, dairy, chicken farm, computerized greenhouse, an organic, experimental farm, vineyards and orchards. The Deborah B. Kaplan Sports Center includes a full size soccer field, sports stadium and swimming pool. The Bonnie Lipton Center for the Performing Arts includes a renovated, modern, auditorium seating 500, an amphitheatre and the Parker-Edelstein Music Center. These facilities have become the center of the village’s cultural and educational activities and are the home of the Shfeyah Mandolin orchestra and music program. The music center also hosts many local and national musical and cultural activities. During September 2005, the Shfeyah Winery began operation and produces 3000 bottles of premium wine annually. The winery is  run by a staff of 11th and 12th grade students under the supervision of the village staff and a local wine maker.
